Patcharin Thanaphoompan

To become a TOUR GUIDE is the dream of Patcharin Thanaphoompan (1991). She loves traveling and visiting places. And she is proud of her country and likes to show its beauty to visitors. She also has a ‘good heart', adds her teacher. Some years ago, while seeing tourist groups visiting her village, she knew that one day she would like to take care of these people herself.
Patcharin decided to first study Humanities, which will give her an opportunity to develop her language skills, and later specialize in Tourism. She is now enrolled Rajabhat University in Chiang Mai. PvT pays for her school fees: 14.000 Baht per year. She will obtain her BA in 4 years.
Her older brother, who has a job, will help her to pay for the extra costs of his younger sister.
After finishing her studies and obtaining her Government Tour Guide license, Patcharin will apply for a job with a tourist company in the North of Thailand.
