Praison Rudeewasan (Born 1992) mechanical engineering

Praison Rudeewasan (1992) was born in an isolated part of the North of Thailand. When he was 1 year old, his father left the family. His mother, with the help of the grandparents and two aunts managed to support the family with the proceeds of her farm work. Praison went to the local school in his village, where he completed the primary level and 3 years of the secondary education. With the help of one of his teachers he was admitted at Matayom school at Samoeng for the remaining 3 years of the secondary education. As Praison had no money from home, the staff at Samoeng helped him with all kind of little paid jobs in the school, while during the weekends he worked in a local construction company.
His dream had always been to become a Teacher in Mathematics. But in recent years he realized that his communicative skills were insufficient for the work of a teacher.
He has now decided to study at the Chiang Mai Technical College, choosing Mechanical Engineering as his subject. He has passed the Entrance examination with high marks and he has now been registered at the school.
PvT will pay for his school fees: 7.500 Baht in the first semester, followed by 4 semesters at 3.500 Baht. Praison also found a part-time job to cover the daily costs of living.
After finishing this study, Praison can either look for a job as a Mechanic, or even consider to apply for a university place to further his knowledge. Eventually he will be able to support his family during their old age.
